Position Summary

Reliability Rotating position is a supporter of the Risk Reliability & Maintenance for rotating equipment with the prime purpose to monitor and maintain the performance of a variety of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, drivers, and associated systems. Develop overall reliability and maintenance strategies for rotating equipment installed across Onshore and Offshore Oil and gas installations.






Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL


·Provide engineering technical support to BU operating units, environmental activities, and plant projects to improve reliability, process safety, and environmental performance.



·Deliver Rotating Equipment Engineering support to reduce risk and provide operations support by working remotely and closely with the client.



·Implement reliability improvements for equipment/systems to enhance overall reliability, availability, and predictability of production while improving process safety and environmental performance, including handling complex designs.



·Develop and update the technical content of equipment strategies based on equipment performance feedback; conduct periodic reviews of maintenance data and the effectiveness of the Operator Workbench.



·Perform equipment reliability analysis and recommend improvements based on Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) findings; establish critical equipment spare strategies.



·Conduct Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) or equivalent risk-based assessments; recommend spare parts and material inventory levels. Utilize equipment performance feedback such as inspection, testing, maintenance data, critical metrics, condition monitoring data, equipment Management of Change (MOC), and findings from defect investigations.



·Specify appropriate Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) activities based on FMEA findings.



·Recommend equipment reliability improvements through analysis of equipment trends, historical data, and field data.



·Develop, implement, and lead reliability principles, precision maintenance practices, and condition monitoring initiatives.



·Collaborate with all relevant departments to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations, adhering to the life cycle asset management process throughout the life cycle of new assets.



·Develop engineering solutions for repetitive failures that negatively impact plant operations, including issues related to capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance.



·Support turnaround and unit shutdown planning and execution by participating in scope development, justifying work items, and providing technical support during shutdowns, startups, and outages.



·Provide input into capital projects to ensure project scope aligns with operational reliability objectives.



·Conduct gap assessments, primarily through periodic audits, to evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance and reliability work processes. Identify internal barriers to implementation and work with clients to address them



·Assist the Line Manager to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) deliverables and overall management of the service.


·Support the Line Manager in management of Oceaneering contract providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management.
