Job Description
Responsibilities :
1. Work closely with the engineering team to understand product architecture and functionality.
2. Understand end-to-end testing requirements and maintain test plan for functionality and system testing.
3. Communicate test results to identify risks, dependencies , and escalate the same in timely manner.
4. Automate test cases with an established automated framework.
5. Execute automation suite and monitor the test results in QA and Production environments.
6. Seek for continuous improvement in existing automation establishments.
7. Develop and maintain test plans and test cases for automated feature list.
8. Along with automation, create expertise in assigned platform component, product or feature area.
9. Work with test leads, development team and feature owners for test execution whenever required in release. Log defects and defect/issue anlaysis in jira in required templates and format.
10. Adhere to release vehicle and release plan to meet Quality and automation success criteria.
Qualifications:
1. Good knowledge of any public or private Cloud platform.
2. Minimum years of experience in testing distributed backend software architectures.
3. 2-3 years of work experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications.
4. 1- 2 years of hand-on experience in Python, Robot framework, Rest apis is required.
5. Good analytical and logical reasoning skills.
6. Good to have knowledge on Selenium, TestNG, RestAssured.
7. Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers is a plus.
8. Comfortable with CI/CD build processes and managing QA Environments as well as working with build management tools like Git, Bamboo, Jenkins.
9. Knowledge with cloud security and any cloud platform such as AWS, Azure and GCP is a big plus
