Your responsibilities
- Examine and analyze departmental purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information.
- Commercial and technical knowledge in offer evaluations.
- Effective negotiation, finalization, and cost optimization
- Validating vendor offer in line with customer requirement.
- Expedite and get order acknowledgement from vendors.
- Vendor selection and order placement.
- Co-ordinating with warehouse for receipts.
- Should be capable of building a relationship with Sales, Engineering, Expediting and other stakeholders.
- Should be capable of support to meet the team KPI and individual KPI.
- Monitor inventory levels and inventory positioning, to replenishing stock via MRP reporting in Hamburg DC.
- Responsible for reconciliation between ERP system and physical aftermarket inventory. Coordinates physical inventory audits (cycle-counting) in DC.
- Tracks inbound and outbound orders (fulfilment coordination)
- Executes material pick order for third party warehouse, and internal ERP transfers.
- Maintains aftermarket inventory master data in local ERP system. Update of inventory settings (ROPs and Safety stock), lead-times, product groups, and cost price.
- Day-to-day coordination of priorities with third-party warehouse operator.
- Coordinate purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing of aftermarket stock items.
- Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices in Hamburg DC.
What you bring
- Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of any ERP knowledge is a must, the experience in Oracle system will be an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
- Competency with Microsoft Office suiters.
- should be proactive and determined.
- Knowledge of Mining equipment preferred.
- Good Oral & Written communication skills
- Should be good Team player.
- Self-motivation and the ability to perform well under pressure.
Education Qualification
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (preferably Mechanical) degree from a reputed university.
Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in procurement.
