Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Project Controller to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.


  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Monitor project costs, schedules, and performance metrics to identify variances and potential risks
  • Analyze project data to provide insights and recommendations for improving project efficiency and profitability
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting
  • Implement and maintain project control systems and processes
  • Prepare and present financial reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects
  • Conduct variance analysis and develop corrective action plans when necessary
  • Assist in the development of project proposals and cost estimates for new business opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in project controlling or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and Excel
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and risk management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with large-scale, complex projects
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and financial principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
