Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager to enable Amazon India build a fast, reliable, and sustainable customer shopping and delivery experience. The individual in this role will collaborate across a team of program, product, tech, BI and Science leaders to plan, execute, validate, and deploy complex customer experience capabilities across International Emerging stores. This role will partner will partner with teams across the globe to launch and drive impact through bespoke product solutions. The ideal candidate will obsess over customers and have a proven track record of delivering results while managing high level of complexity. Successful candidates will have experience with Program Management in a broad, global organization, have experience working with a variety of cross-organizational stakeholders, and be able to juggle competing priorities. This candidate must have crisp communication skills, and have experience communicating project status and updates across a global audience. Ability to navigate ambiguous programs, influence without authority, and a high bias for action are critical for success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, scoping, and delivering large end to end programs.
- You will have the opportunity to engage with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to conceive of and design innovative customer facing initiatives.

- This role will require the candidate be self-sufficient to analyze large amounts of data. So, working knowledge of SQL is critical for success.
- You will not be required to build data infrastructure but you will need to be comfortable querying (good foundational knowledge), be nifty with excel (power pivot), and use data to drive / influence discussions. Many a times you will have to leverage existing data generated by other BIEs to drive your programs. Other times, the exact data may not be available and you will need to be self-sufficient to not be blocked by this.
A day in the life
Your week will typically start with looking at key input/output metrics and identifying trends/concerns/opportunities. You will engage with stakeholders ad partners to track progress on goals, as well as identify opportunities to further enhance customer experience. You will crisply communicate to senior leadership on status, progress, concerns and help required to unblock key opportunities. The bottom line is to drive improvements which requires strong communication, a flair for identifying data patterns, comfort with analyzing large varied datasets, and a knack of influencing diverse set of stakeholders.

- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
