The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Principal Solution Consultant with a passion for helping customers solve complex business challenges. In this role, you will work closely with AspenTech's sales team to lead customers through a consultative discovery process. You’ll create tailored solutions that meet their needs, highlight unique value, and outline a clear implementation and sustainment plan.Your Impact
  • Provide expert sales support for AspenTech’s SeisEarth seismic interpretation software. 
  • Lead technical sales efforts to maximize product and services opportunities. 
  • Use consultative skills to identify customer challenges, understand their business, and deliver compelling value propositions. 
  • Explain the impact of geophysics solutions on customer operations and demonstrate their value. 
  • Deliver technical presentations and software demonstrations as needed. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to plan activities and develop commercial proposals. 
  • Support pipeline development through marketing, account planning, and awareness sessions. 
  • Drive sales execution by achieving technical wins and establishing clear steps to closure for assigned opportunities.
What You'll Need
  • M.Sc in Petroleum Geophysics or Geology. 
  • Minimum 8 - 10+ years of experience working as a geophysicist with seismic interpretation software (e.g., SeisEarth, Petrel, Decision Space, Kingdom) in exploration or field development workflows. 
  • Additional experience in geological modeling (e.g., Petrel, RMS, SKUA) is a plus. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to draw insights from customer interactions and data. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, self-motivated attitude. 
  • A balance of technical and business acumen, with intellectual curiosity and resilience. 
  • Experience presenting to and gaining buy-in from middle management. 
  • Proven ability to independently and collaboratively build a sales pipeline and close deals. 
  • A commitment to lifelong learning, staying updated on industry trends and advancements in geophysical interpretation techniques. 
  • Additional Information: International travel may be required to support opportunities across the Asia-Pacific region.
