Amazon Pay is seeking an experienced marketing professional to own the development, execution, and measurement of high-impact marketing content that connects our offering to our customers’ needs. The Sr Marketing Manager has a deep understanding of our product, priorities and business customers segments and needs, and can translate multiple inputs and data into a marketing content strategy and messaging framework that is cohesive and relevant. They will develop new and compelling foundational marketing contents and assets, understand and benefit from the social media landscape, evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions on how to evolve our messaging and content. The successful candidate is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and navigating cross-functional stakeholders, with strong attention to detail, and who strives in a fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and maintain a scalable product messaging framework with relevant segments. Collaborate with Product and Category Leadership teams to understand and incorporate selling points that meet customer backward needs.
• Identify and create compelling marketing collateral, playbooks, and brand artefacts that help drive business value, social conversations and campaign effectiveness.
• Define our social media mission and lead planning & execution for organic and paid engagement.
• Bring strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and positioning strategies to aid brand planning strategy.
- 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to stakeholders
- MBA
- Experience in B2B, digital advertising, and ad-tech products/services
- Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
- Experience in marketing or marketing research
