Role ProfileWe are looking for multifaceted and forward-looking Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) – Senior Manager- Oracle Cloud Fusion ERPMCS Test Automation to join our Finance IT Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling & delivering Test Automation of OCI Cloud Fusion/ORMBCS/EDMCS/EPM Applications, including the setup, configuration, and management of OCI resources, as well as coordinating OCI support. The candidate must have full understanding the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioural characteristics of large-scale implementation of Cloud EDMCS/EPM Development and OCS/OICS Console management.Responsibility includes development and implementation of critical test cases with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. Partner with development teams and work towards addressing and fixing production issues on cloud, defining and implementing product enhancements. Collaborate with various cloud operations teams to understand the production issues and work towards to build a reproducible test case in the lab environment to present to the development team.BackgroundLSEG have embarked on a Finance Transformation programme, to deliver our Finance Vision and transform the way we work to bring value and deliver sustainable growth for the business. The Programme is driving efficiencies and improving benefits for LSEG by moving to a single cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning and Performance Management (Oracle Cloud Fusion/ORMBCS/EPM/ EDM/OICS).As an Oracle Cloud Fusion Test Automation Lead, will be responsible for:Automating the Test cases of Oracle Cloud Fusion Application for R2R, P2P, O2C and Oracle RMB, EDMCS & EPM and Handle the Application Testing Automation Team.Prepare the details tasks and help the team members to achieve the deadlines.Identify the risk intime and come up with solutions.Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of test automation engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Framework Development: Develop, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks.Test Plans: Create and execute automated test plans and scripts to ensure Oracle ERP functionality meets design specifications.Teamwork: Work closely with product and development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance.Automation Coverage: Drive automation across regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.Collaborator Engagement: Understand business requirements and align automation efforts with business goals.Reporting: Provide regular updates on test automation progress, coverage, and overall product quality.Integration: Ensure smooth integration of automation frameworks during Oracle ERP upgrades or new implementations.Standard Processes: Advocate for automation standard processes, including reusable components, data-driven testing, and modular scripts.Innovation: Stay updated on emerging trends in test automation and bring innovative solutions to improve ERP testing efficiency.Knowledge/Skills:Extensive Development management experience on SaaS products leading global engineering teams in UK, US, India, and other Asian & European countries.Experience in Automating test cases for Oracle Cloud Fusion, EDMCS, EPM.Experienced in writing QA automation tests using frameworks like TOSCA and Selenium.Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debuggingExperience and Skill of leading virtual teams, partner across organizational boundaries and influence development direction and Ability to motivate, grow and guide developers.Work independently and tackle problems and are willing to do what it takes to get things done.Effective interpersonal skills (written and spoken) and strong problem-solving skillsAgile Practices: Solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.Experience:Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP modules and automation tools like Selenium, Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS).Minimum of 5 to 6 Global Test Automation implementations experience.Leadership: Experience leading a test automation team or managing QA projects in a large enterprise setting.CI/CD Integration: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation within DevOps practices.Scripting & SQL: Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) and SQL for backend validations and ERP data verifications.API Testing: Exposure to API automation testing for Oracle ERP integrations.Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance and load testing for Oracle ERP systemsExperience working within a Finance Operations, preferably with large Financial Services Organization.Experience in driving high availability, resiliency, and scalability of a global Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Applications landscape delivering metrics-driven continuous improvements.Ability to work with cross-functional Directors and global leads.Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
