Brief Description:


This position is accountable for working closely with business teams for delivering IT capabilities. Should have customer focused attitude, good team engagement along with good IT execution skills. Should have knowledge of BI tools and Digital technologies such as: Power BI, Google analytics, Websites, Mobile Apps, email marketing, promotion on digital channels, usability etc.


The position is responsible for the following main areas:


  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with local business teams and all departments like Finance, HR, Medical etc. to execute the delivery of IT capabilities by utilizing project management methodologies.
  • Accountable for working closely with affiliate Digital and OCE team to deploy digital solution, ensuring appropriate architecture alignment and adherence to IT business process model.
  • Assess current IT systems and suggest improvements to meet business needs.
  • Lead affiliate productivity agenda through AI and Automation initiatives.
  • Lead analytics and Interpreting data and develop analysis to enhance the reporting capabilities by using statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports on affiliate level.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for digital initiatives, IT methodologies and technology and effectively influence / educate other business team members.
  • Act as a IT Quality Analyst ensuring all Lilly Quality processes are followed

Responsibilities & Tasks


  • Retain overall oversight on IT Operations and Project delivery for the affiliate
  • Project Management – Drive IT Projects acting as Project Manager within the affiliate or at area level.
  • Support Digital Solutions
    • Apply Project Management methodology in driving Digital initiatives
    • Help define and collect key performance indicators and  metrics, including customer satisfaction, to drive continuous improvement and actionable insights
    • Define, replicate/ develop, and deploy relevant training agenda targeted for Sales and HO to develop technical expertise and confidence. Leverage Enhanced Education IT portal as single repository to drive seamless access to all materials.
    • Drive effective engagement with cross functional teams to drive affiliate specific needs on Digital space, driving best practice replication, developing, and driving new solution with aim on replication on a larger scale
    • Proactively share learning

Act as Quality Analyst


  • Ensures completion of all appropriate Computer Systems Validation (CSV) requirements
  • Manages the accuracy, completeness, and quality of all change request (CR) packets
  • Assist internal audits and external inspection preparation for IT

      Act as Technology Integrator


  • Enables effective information flows across IT business processes and our partners’ business processes.
  • Implements innovative approaches when integrating new technologies supporting business transformation.
  • Anticipates the implication of technical decisions on all parts of the IT portfolio, and influences life-cycle decisions accordingly.

      Business Intelligence role:


  • Interpreting data and develop analysis to enhance the reporting capabilities by using statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports on affiliate level.
  • Help to visualize the key performance indicators and metrics on dashboard to drive continuous improvement and actionable insights.
  • Drive effective communications to train all stakeholders on new reports & dashboards navigation
  • Be the liaison between the business stakeholders and support teams
  • Participation in engagement definition, scope, objectives, risks and approach
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Proactively share learning

Skills, Knowledge, & Qualifications


Qualification & Experience:


  • Project Management Experience
  • Business Analysis
  • Understanding of ITIL Service Management framework (ITIL certification would be a plus)
  • Data Blending & Visualization tools (Tableau , PowerBi)
  • Relevant experience on event management or Virtual Meeting Management
