About the role:
- Develop, maintain automation test suite in Arena Test Frameworks which is Python (Robot) based for components under Front Arena.
- End-to-end functional and manual testing of the end product.
- Functional analysis of customer requirements along with BA.
About the Team
- FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk platform (Front Arena) is FIS's flagship product which is cross-asset trading, risk, and position-keeping system. It caters to front-office, middle-office, as well as back-office functionalities. It supports exchange as well as OTC trading. FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk platform integrate with various external systems, trading platforms, and data providers for reference data, market data, credit pricing data, trading data, regulatory data, etc., which enables users to perform high-volume trading as well as to manage their exposures and operational controls.
- We bring award-winning, multi-asset-class trading, position keeping and market data solutions which primarily serve the Sell and Buy Side customers with front-to-back best in class solutions.
- Our market leader solutions include OTC integrations and support top tier investment banks across the world.
- Expertise includes building high performant systems that are highly scalable.
What will you be doing
- Engage with stakeholders for requirement understanding.
- Analysis of the requirement and solution.
- Testcase automation.
- Detailed testing of solution.
- Proper analysis and resolution of client issues.
- In time delivery.
- Develops, maintains and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
- Performs usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability and security.
- Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
- Controls and manages own daily test activities.
What you will need:
- 5+ years of experience as Automation QA.
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Should have knowledge of SQL queries and RDBMS concepts.
- Should take complete ownership of the product's QA and Release processes.
- Effective communication with stake holders and customers.
- Skill in analysis, solid decision-making and problem solving.
- Work closely with the development team, BA, and other stake holders.
- Skill in understanding and focusing on the client needs.
- Highly professional, client focus and passion to learn new things.
- Knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in software testing.
- Knowledge and use of quality management methods, tools and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software that meets needs of client/business partner.
- Knowledge of functions, features and components of existing and planned operating systems and applications.
- Ability to deliver results under pressure.
Added bonus if you have:
- Exposure to Capital Markets or Investment banking domain.
- Exposure to Swift Messaging
- Experience of Agile Scrum will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
