Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Sr. Java Developer with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java (versions 8 to 21) and have extensive hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and Unix/Shell scripting, along with a foundational knowledge of PLSQL, containerization, and cloud architecture. The Lead Java Developer will be responsible for analyzing complex requirements, providing solutions, and mitigating technical challenges while working with minimal supervision.

Overall Responsibilities:- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide solutions to complex problems.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and testing.
- Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance development practices.
- Identify, solve, and mitigate technical challenges in projects.
Technical Skills:- Core Java:Strong understanding and experience in Java 8/21 and Core Java concepts.
- Frameworks:Proficient in Spring and Spring Boot for application development.
- API Development:Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
- Scripting:Proficient in Unix/Shell scripting for automation and system management.
- Database Knowledge:Good understanding of PLSQL for database interactions (preferred).
- Message Brokers:Familiarity with Kafka for handling real-time data streams.
- Containerization:Understanding of containerization technologies like ECS and OpenShift.
- Cloud Architecture:Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services.
Experience:- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Java development.
- Proven experience in leading development teams and projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality software solutions.
Day-to-Day Activities:- Writing and reviewing code while ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborating with product owners and other stakeholders to clarify requirements.
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Providing technical guidance and support to team members.
- Conducting research on emerging technologies and assessing their impact on current projects.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications in Java, Spring, or cloud technologies are a plus.
