As a Senior Operations Manager in Integrated Supply Chain – PMC at Honeywell India. You will provide strategic and tactical direction for the manufacturing operations and related integrated supply chain activities and assists in the development of the business strategy for PMC Biz operating out of India Factory. You will develop and execute strategies for increased customer satisfaction, safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, working capital management, and effectively introduce new products/processes for growth. You need to partner with Local & Global Supply chain functions along with respective regional Business Leaders to optimize end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient production, inventory management and logistics support to meet the customer expectation and contribute to the overall success of the supply chain operations.
Key Roles & Responsibility:
·Responsible for Process Measurement & Controls Biz units ISC operations at Pune IA Site.
·Create and implement best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance
·Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
·Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost & people which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market
·Develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan for different product lines in PMC Biz.
·Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities to meet the customer expectations on Cost, Quality & Delivery.
·Implement a customer focused operational culture by collaborating with Biz Leader & Cross Functional teams across the regions
·Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process (AOP). Prepare the annual Manufacturing budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects
·Model the Honeywell Accelerator Operating System leadership expectations including use of, and adherence to, leadership standardized work
·Spending considerable time walking the factory floor and auditing aspects of the operating system. Drive Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence.
·Create a lean culture with engagement at all levels, manage inventories to achieve working capital goals.
·Integrate key elements of Supply Chain to improve Factory cycle time including supplier Lead Time, Logistics Time & Factory Output.
·Focus on Built-in-Quality to drive positive results for the business.
·Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions
·Establish strategy and best practices for staff to ensure achievement of overall business objectives. Work with the Manufacturing team to translate site strategy into specific annual performance goals and departmental objectives including KPIs, and to track them.
·Lead annual evaluation process, discover and encourage employees with potential, sustain and lead professional development of employees by individual discussions (coaching)
Experience & Key Skill-Competency (Manufacturing):
·Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electronics / Industrial)
·14-18 years of experience in manufacturing function progressively increasing responsibility & high production environment desired.
·4-6 years of managerial experience
·Knowledge of International Quality Standards like ISO 9001
