Job Summary:


  •  Reports directly to Financial Reporting Supervisor (India) and interfaces with statutory auditors, direct tax and indirect tax consultants.
  •  Actively informs with other departments and follows up on corrective actions.
  •  Coordinates with other verticals including general ledger, compliance, and reconciliation teams to ensure that information required, assisting both internal and local statutory requirements are obtained and provided in a timely manner.
  • Perform special studies or analyses from time to time as needed and requested by supervisors and managers.

This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be found by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.


Major Responsibilities:


  •   Preparing and review of draft financial statements as per the applicable laws
  •   Preparing / reviewing audit schedules including tax audit schedules
  •   Interface with statutory and tax auditors for the completion of audits in the stipulated timelines
  •   Has thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting including ledger scrutiny as well as tax compliances including GST, WHT 

Education and Experience Requirements:


  •  Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field and at 3-5 years of accounting experience.
  •  CA (Inter)/ICWA Inter will be added advantage.
  •  Basic knowledge of financial reporting & financials.
  •  Basic skills in the areas of oral and written communications, MS Office suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook). Thorough knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
  •  Should possess knowledge of WHT, GST Tax and Corporate Tax.
  •  Good logical skills.

 Required Knowledge and Skills:


  •   Ability to transmit effectively both orally and in writing.
  •   Must have audit experience in a large organization, in terms of interaction and co-ordination with the auditors for the finalization of statutory financials.
  •   Understanding of generally receive accounting principles (GAAP) and applicable accounting methods.
  •   Must be dependable, punctual, conscientious, and function well in a team environment.
  •   The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable and have the ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude and maintain composure under stress.
  •   The ideal candidate must be 'self-starter' capable of working independently, taking initiative identifying and resolving issues,
  •   managing workload, and handling correspondence.
  •   The ideal candidate must possess good organization skills, ability to provide constant attention to detail, and have ability to apply quality control over a heavy volume work with tight deadlines.
