Job Description

ServiceNow is currently looking for a Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst based in our offices in Hyderabad or Bangalore.


The Senior Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day international financial reporting activities including preparation of financial statements and tax computation, review of consultant prepared tax computation, tax compliance support and accounting schedules. General list of activities includes, but not limited to:


What you get to do in this role:


  • Preparation of accounting packages, supporting tax returns for multiple jurisdictions such as EMEA, APAC and LATAM
  • Preparation of tax related disclosures in financial statements.
  • Preparation or review of Income tax returns and other tax forms.
  • Preparation of effective tax rate reconciliations and movement in tax schedules
  • Preparation of Statutory financial statements and all related disclosures.
  • Work with internal and external auditors and with internal teams and consultants to provide requested information and assist in execution of the statutory audits and tax returns.
  • Work on special projects, analysis requests, ad-hoc reporting and other tasks as assigned; and
  • Capable of working to stringent statutory deadlines and ensure all statutory deadlines are met, whilst ensuring accurate deliverables and to be flexible to prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Continuously evaluate the tax and accounting processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing enhancements to process efficiency.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:


  • Chartered Accountant - with an experience of 3-5 years post qualification with a background in taxation and/or work experience in a similar environment with a proven track record.
  • Experience in similar profile in Global Capability Centers (GCC’s) or Multinational Corporations (MNC’s) or Big 4 public accounting tax firms is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in Taxation and having strong knowledge of Income tax acts and laws.
  • Extensive experience in India statutory and tax audit, strong knowledge of Companies Act and India IFC/SOX and preparation of financial statements.
  • Display working knowledge of IGAAP/ IFRS with the ability to stay on top of changes in guidance.
  • Experience with SAP and Workiva is a plus.
  • Experience in SOX reporting/ internal controls preparation is a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; and ability to work effectively as a member of a team of diverse individuals.
  • Great ability to work independently, self-starter, highly motivated, can-do mentality; and
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
