Job Description :


  • Manage pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation.
  • Track and trace shipment statuses via online platforms and direct communication with shipping lines and freight forwarders, providing clients with updates.
  • Ensure timely processing of import shipments as per TAT.
  • Verify documents within the specified Turnaround Time.
  • Assign containers to CFS for movement.
  • Submit Duty requests according to customer requirements.
  • Verify Duty payments and ensure accuracy in DSR.
  • Handle Bill of Entry (BE) regularization and respond to related queries.
  • Follow up on security holding refunds.
  • Obtain delivery orders from shipping lines or freight forwarders.
  • Plan and allocate dispatches efficiently.
  • Coordinate with transporters to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Share daily status reports and dispatch report with clients
  • Prepare and issue e-way bills.
  • Submit invoices to the billing team post-clearance.
  • Update milestones and freight audit on the 4PL platform.
  • Prepare and send hazardous cargo intimation documents to the relevant authorities.
  • Prepare and share the quarterly report on paid detentions.
  • Prepare and maintain a monthly record retention tracker; upload documents to OneDrive.
  • Generate and share monthly transportation allocation reports.


Academic Qualifications:


  • 4-5 years of relevant experience from Custom Clearance background.
  • Good communication, Interpersonal skills.

Knowledge/ Skills


  • Result oriented and target driven professional.
  • Strong problem-solving and out of box thinking skills. 
  • Adaptability and go getter attitude. 
  • Logysis/Visual Impex – Custom software
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
