Power Systems Organization need efficient tools to perform activities of Tendering, Project management and ordering.One of the main Tools is a configuration tool named "Satellite". You will be part of the global team in charge of the Satelliteimplementation and maintenance of the Medium Voltage (MV) Products in the Satellite Tool and support SE users acrossthe world.1. Main mission:Make available the Energy MV products in Satellite, in coherency with business strategy and tool convergence programscheduling.2. Main activities:2.1. MV Product implementation:- Translate the Product definition (Decision Tree, Choice grids) into configuration rules/bricks (Software rules/logic) to getan accurate Bill of Material and to create a user-friendly MV Product Configurator in Satellite.- Study the Product definition and estimate the workload- Clarify if necessary with the Range Technical Leader/R&D or with the Offer data manager about the product data.- Implement various cost data, Tender Printouts, Commercial conditions Market Products etc. in the maintenance tool andprepare the Satellite releases (.kif creation)- Implement software rules/logics to integrate Drawings from the ECAD tool which can help to generate a set of drawingsin the background while configuring the Customer Project in the Satellite at the Tendering Stage.2.2. Quality:- Ensure on-time delivery of the implementation releases- Ensure the quality of implementation by following the rules and testing the configurations2.3. Deployment:- Support the BO (Back-Office) and FO (Front-Office) Satellite deployment leaders2.4. Users support:- Support the users according to the support organization- Manage the Maintenance tool- Answer the relevant support tickets3.0 Requested competencies and knowledge:-You have experience in Electrical Engineering (MV Business Knowledge is preferred) with good IT competency.-You are comfortable working on IT application tools (software) which involves logic building and data structuring to meetthe user needs- You have a good knowledge of MV equipment, preferably with Schneider Electric products.-You have good skills in Structuring and Organization, as well as master management-You are able to manage issue resolution-Additional knowledge ofa) Configuration/quotation tools would be appreciated.b) Supply Chain/Ordering Flow (IG flow through plants and/or Distribution Centres)c) XML/Hive Interfaceswould be appreciated.-Language: English fluent (Communication with users across different regions will be required).Skills –Basic knowledge of MV Products and EquipmentsBasic knowledge of Computer applications,Good logic building skills,Good IT skillsCross-cultural knowledge will be an added advantageMS-Office
QualificationsBachelor's Degree (B.E.) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
