Overall Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage DevOps practices and tools to support robust and scalable software development and deployment.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure and applications.
- Automate and optimize deployment processes for both Linux and Windows environments.
- Monitor and maintain systems for optimal performance using observability tools.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure and application performance.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained.
Technical Skills:
Containerization and Orchestration:
- Strong knowledge in ECS, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
Operating Systems:
- Excellent knowledge in both Linux and Windows platforms.
Automation and CI/CD:
- Good knowledge in CI/CD Pipelines.
- Experience with build and deploy tools.
Programming and APIs:
- Good knowledge in Java 8 or higher.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot and REST API development.
Monitoring and Observability:
- Good knowledge in ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Experience with observability tools for monitoring and logging.
IT Service Management:
- Good knowledge in ServiceNow and other IT service management tools.
Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
- Proven experience with ECS, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Extensive experience working with both Linux and Windows platforms.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Proficiency in Java 8 or higher, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
- Experience with ELK stack and observability tools.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools like ServiceNow.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment.
- Develop, test, and deploy infrastructure as code using container orchestration tools.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement and maintain DevOps best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
- Implement and maintain observability tools for monitoring and logging.
- Manage and optimize both Linux and Windows environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
