This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Data Quality and Governance Organization at S&P Global Market Intelligence. A function that partners across the Market Intelligence to establish quality practices, transform process design, client journey as well as spread the improvement culture. Our Customer needs and business outcomes is at the center of what we do.


The Impact:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Learning Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the design and development of AI and Machine Learning algorithms and statistical models, and provide innovative direction and guidance on reports and analyses. They will also ensure that recommendations are aligned with customer and organizational needs and capabilities.


Responsibilities:


  • Leading and executing the design and development of AI and Machine Learning algorithms and statistical models that helps to improve data quality.


  • Collaborate with business stakeholders on implementing machine learning solutions.


  • Providing innovative direction and guidance on reports and analyses, ensuring recommendations are aligned with customer and organizational needs and capabilities.


  • Working on issues where analysis of data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.


Business Skill and Knowledge:


  • A strong foundation in mathematics, including linear algebra and statistics.


  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with data processing frameworks.


  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and models, as well as data mining and modeling techniques.


  • Good coding practices and the ability to write efficient and maintainable code.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


  • Curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and improve their skills.


  • Expert level understanding of SQL.


Experience and Qualification:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.


  • Extensive experience in AI and Machine Learning, including the development of algorithms and statistical models.


  • Six-Sigma, Data Analytics certifications are added advantage.
