Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join Procore’s Cyber Fusion Center. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in safeguarding our organization's digital infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to protect Procore’s assets and data from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, Development, and Operations, to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents. Use your analytical skills, technical expertise, and attention to detail to enhance our security posture and mitigate risks. This position reports to the Cybersecurity Operations Manager and will be based in our Bangalore office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor security alerts and incidents, investigating and responding promptly.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security controls and best practices.
• Perform threat analysis and provide actionable intelligence to prevent security breaches.
• Maintain and update security documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in security audits and compliance efforts to ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and techniques to proactively defend against threats.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Proficiency in using security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
