Job Description

Job Purpose


Influencing buyers/optometrists via training and engagement and win market share on Key Priority Brands.


Major Accountabilities


Influencing buyers/optometrists via training and engagement


  • Collaborate with ASM on identifying outlets needing training
  • Conduct training of pre-identified Front House Staff on Alcon training course.
  • Conduct training of instore optometrist on technical know-hows and Alcon training courses.
  • Conduct hands-on and mock trainings in pre-identified accounts by using instore dispensing assets.
  • Be the “Call on Help” with key fitters and customers for identified outlets only in cases where commercial team is unable to resolve the query.

Win market share on Key Priority Brands in identified outlets


  • Gain a thorough understanding of consumer and customer needs for Key Priority Brands.
  • Drive instore activations with pre-identified outlets to drive Market Share.
  • Monitor relevant KPIs for assigned account.

Represent Alcon in regional Ophthalmic/Optometry conferences/congresses


Key Performance Indicators


  • Training and Engagement
    Number of trainings as per target
    Pre and Post Customer surveys
  • Achieve Sales Value Targets for assigned product portfolio as per account coverage
  • Win Market Share on Key Priority Brands
    Activation execution as per target.
    New Fits execution in identified outlets
    Instore sales and share for Key Priority Brands

Ideal Background


Education:


  • Full time Bachelor in Optometry

Languages:


  • North Region: Hindi and English
  • South Region: English and Kannada/Tamil

Experience / Professional requirement:           


  • 1-3 years of extensive optical retail experience from market leading companies or clinical experience
  • Passion for understanding the mindset of ECPs and consumers and keeping up with commercial and technology trends
  • Passion for execution
  • Drive for Results
  • Willingness to learn on the job
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to successfully collaborate and build relationships with internal teams.
  • Regular business trips are required for this function
