Job Description

Software Requirements:


  • Primary – Database(Oracle, Postgres), Database Performance Tuning
  • Secondary – Spark, Scala, AWS

Overall Responsibilities:


  • Database developer
  • Oracle and Postgres Database developer

Skills:


  • Hands on experience with PL/SQL using Oracle and Postgres
  • • Strong experience with Oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning
  • • Performance tune SQL's, application programs and instances.
  • • Providing technical assistance, problem resolution and troubleshooting.
  • • Good to have hands on experience in Spark
  • • AWS service knowledge as AWS Glue, S3 will be added advantage
  • • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • • Knowledge of Agile processes

Experience:


  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on other technologies.
  • Experience with software development methodologies and tools such as Agile, Scrum, Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and participating in code reviews.

Day-to-Day Activities:


  • Participating in daily stand-up meetings and project planning sessions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions.
  • Writing, testing, and deploying software solutions.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
  • Staying current with the latest technology trends and advancements.
  • Providing technical support to team members and resolving technical issues.

Qualification:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Soft Skills:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing requirements.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills.
