Must-Have Skills:


  • Python Expertise: Proficiency in writing clean, efficient Python code for data processing, transformation, and automation tasks.
  • Data Workflow Development: Hands-on experience in designing and building modern data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow/Azure Data Factory/Synapse, Kafka, or Spark for batch and real-time data ingestion.
  • Data Design and Modelling: Strong knowledge of data design and modelling concepts, including working with RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), and Columnar databases (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake).
  • Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for building scalable, resilient data solutions.
  • API Development: Proficiency in building, consuming, and securing RESTful APIs for data access and integration.
  • CI/CD and DevOps: Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) for continuous integration and deployment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:


  • Experience in creating reports using Power BI
  • Performance Optimisation: Ability to optimize data queries, pipelines, and storage solutions for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Certifications: Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer, or Snowflake certifications) are a plus.
