Sr. Analyst, Internal Control

As a Sr. Analyst for Internal Control, you will be part of the EF Global Assurance team in the Central Finance department of EF, and you will work with finance colleagues around the world to support a diverse and global organization.

Your primary responsibility is to evaluate and monitor the internal controls and financial processes within the EF organization. You will develop test plans, carrying out tests and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, and perform continuous monitoring of the control environment. In this role you will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and cross-functional teams at EF. You will work closely with and support the EF Internal Audit team as required and you will report to our Director Internal Audit.

You will be required to understand and contribute to the group wide internal controls. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills together with your ability to communicate and drive change across lingual, cultural, and geographic divides will be central to the team’s and your success.

The role:  

• Develop test plans
• Perform routine inspections and carry out tests of key control activities
• Take responsibility of continuous monitoring of internal controls
• Document internal controls activities and prepare reports with observations and recommendations for improvements
• Participate in other global Assurance, Internal Audit and Internal Controls initiatives and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Finance/ Economics or similar
• 1-2 years relevant experience in the field of accounting, auditing or internal controls
• Competence in MS Excel with exposure to advanced formulas and functions
• Competencies in languages is considered an advantage
• Excellent project and time management skills
