Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance tests using Load Runner and other performance testing tools.
- Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure performance considerations are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
- Utilize Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and diagnostics.
- Implement and manage memory management strategies to optimize application performance.
- Configure and manage WebSphere application servers to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts and scenarios.
- Provide detailed performance analysis reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing and optimization techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Performance Engineer with a strong focus on Java applications.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as Load Runner.
- Experience with Dynatrace or similar application performance monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of memory management and optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with WebSphere application server configuration and management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other performance testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of additional application servers and monitoring tools.
- Certification in performance testing or related areas.
