PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Primary Skills: Oracle WebLogic Application Server, HTTPD server & Apache Webserver
- Secondary Skills: Apache Tomcat, JBoss Application Server
- 6+ years’ experience in the administration of WebLogic Application Server & Apache Webserver, min 4 years exp in Apache Tomcat & JBoss Application Server admin
- Able to deal with complex issues involving customers and vendors
- Strong skills in the administration of java hosting platforms, SSL administration
- Well experienced in RHEL & Windows platforms
- Perform installation, upgrade, migrate, configure, patching and maintain WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss application servers
- Support standard software maintenance and application deployments to prod and non-prod environments by following project management office guidelines
- Demonstrate ability to automate and maintain automation of routine functions
- Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in team projects
- Perform related duties as required and provide off-hours support for Middleware related issues
- Identify Root Cause and be able to apply preventive actions for environment specific problems
- Available for off-hour deployments and provide 24x7 on-call production support
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle WebLogic Application Server, HTTPD server & Apache Webserver & min 4 years in Apache Tomcat & JBoss
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Jenkins and SFTP a plus.
- Knowledge of SSL cert administration.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud a plus.
- Must have quality team building skills, positive attitude, detail oriented, self-motivated and strong project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities that continually change.
- On call or remote support through regular rotation.
- Flexibility to work in shifts including night shift.
