Job Summary: The Microsoft Teams Rooms Administrator is responsible for the remote setup, configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Teams Rooms devices and systems. This role ensures seamless virtual meeting experiences by maintaining the hardware and software components of Teams Rooms including space management / room reservation platforms.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Setup and Configuration: Install and configure Microsoft Teams Rooms devices, including cameras, microphones, speakers, touch controls / panels and displays. Also includes space management platforms for rooms reservations etc.,
  • Policy Management: Implement and manage policies for Teams Rooms devices to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • System Updates: Regularly update Teams Rooms devices with the latest software and security patches.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide remote support to resolve any technical issues with Teams Rooms devices, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams or vendors as needed.
  • Room Management: Monitor the health and usage of Teams Rooms, performing regular checks and maintenance routines.
  • User Support: Assist users with the operation of Teams Rooms equipment and provide user training when necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and facilities teams to improve the Teams Rooms experience for all users.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of device configurations, updates, and support activities.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Teams Rooms administrator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams technology and infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:


  • Certifications in Microsoft Teams or related technologies.
  • Experience with remote management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and security protocols.

Working Conditions:


  • Availability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations outside of standard working hours.
  • Should visit the customer office as and when necessary.
