A Day in the LifeAs a Senior ML Ops Engineer, you will play a critical role in the deployment, monitoring, and optimization of machine learning models. You will ensure our ML solutions are high-quality, secure, and scalable, meeting the business needs and aligning with the IT strategy. You will collaborate with data scientists, IT technologists, stakeholders, and vendors to plan, execute, and support the entire ML lifecycle.
As an individual contributor with a mix of technical expertise, strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills, this position is responsible for deploying and managing ML models, automating workflows, and ensuring robust model performance. This role also requires experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for ML models and adherence to policies that support health management, operational and financial metrics, and quality outcomes-focused initiatives and performance targets.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to operationalize machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable MLOps infrastructure and pipelines for model deployment and monitoring.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for machine learning models.
  • Automate model training, testing, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to track model performance and data quality in production.
  • Work closely with IT operations to ensure the security, compliance, and scalability of MLOps infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to model deployment, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize machine learning workflows and processes.

Required Knowledge and Experience: 


  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, or MSc and 5+ years experience in ML Ops and Data science.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
  • Self-Starter strong problem-solving and communication skills.
