Sr. Advisor, Dangerous Goods Management

Our Import-Export team within Materials and Procurement provides trade compliance support for end-to-end order management and delivery processes. We’re experts in what we do, from assessing global trade risk and providing mitigation strategies, to delivering strategic and tactical support in developing international supply chains, to implementing strategies to reduce import expenses and auditing all documentation.

What you’ll achieve


As a Senior Advisor, Import/Export, you will be responsible for supporting the global Dangerous Goods team and our supply chain operations, to coordinate with various teams (operations/manufacturing, distributors and customers) and ensure compliance of shipping our Dangerous Goods materials. You will carry out daily Dangerous Goods tasks and help identify recommendations for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain, and ensure compliance.
You will:


  • Manage the daily inquiries and questions from internal and external customers and partners to support the Dangerous Goods


  • Assist the Dangerous Goods team with data analytics, IT and operational projects, and special assignments


  • Support Dangerous Goods inspections and document generation and review


  • Analysis issues and errors with carriers to get to the root cause and propose corrective solutions, and proactively identify potential gaps to resolve with new innovative ideas

Essential Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience with Dangerous Goods, roles of compliance or operations in supply chain, or related field


  • Proficient with Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Access, and Power BI


  • Good written and communication skills


  • Quick learner and critical thinking skills



Desirable Requirements


  • Experience in Dangerous Goods


  • Data analytical
