SQL & ETL Developer
Software Requirements:
Data Extraction & Transformation:Design and implement ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into the desired format, and load it into target systems.
Database Management:Manage and optimize SQL databases, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
Data Quality Assurance:Monitor and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data throughout the ETL process.
Collaboration:Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
Documentation:Prepare and maintain clear documentation of ETL processes, data mappings, and operational procedures.
Troubleshooting:Identify, diagnose, and resolve data-related issues, making adjustments to ETL processes as necessary.
SQL Skills: Advanced SQL skills, including data modeling and database design.
ETL Tools: Proficiency in ETL development using SSIS or Informatica.
Database Management: Experience with SQL Server or Oracle database management systems.
Data Warehousing: Understanding of dimensional modeling and ETL best practices.
Scripting: Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell is a plus.
