Specialist - Metrics, Analytics & Reporting

The incumbent in this role will ensure world-class service delivery to the UK clients. This position is responsible for various professional activities for assigned moderate portfolios, including processing and technical checks of transaction, administration of Healthcare & Protection policies (covering Renewal and Market Review process). The role will focus on:


  • Processing and quality checking
  • Handling tasks for UK health insurance products – like GLA, GIP, PMI, Dental, etc
  • Interpretation of policy terms and client requirements to draft Renewal or Market Review Report
  • Good understanding of claims Underwriting process
  • Effective communication with clients, colleagues, and providers
  • Enter, validate and provide data analysis for various data used in renewal process (employee headcount movement, claim history, underwriting details, premium changes etc.)
  • Prepare various documents that are used in placement process and distributed by local client contacts to clients (Proposals, RFQ, Confirmation of Placement, Renewal Report, e-mails
  • Creating reports, perform data analysis, including presentation of data insights.
  • Ownership of delivery on assigned work through self-planning and monitoring of all activities
  • Ensure quality of own work through right first-time approach
  • Preparation of various process reports as and when delegated by managers.
  • Mentoring and coaching new hires
  • Updating and maintaining process documentations (e.g. SOPs, PMAPs, Exception Tracker etc.)
  • Transition of new processes / work types

  • Tracking the inventory status and sharing day end report with managers

  • Ownership of delivery of tasks and client portfolio
  • Proactively manage own workload
  • Partner with internal/ external stakeholders to achieve best service for client.
  • Dealing with client and member queries (verbal and written), as appropriate in line with service level agreements to ensure timely client delivery.
  • Champion continuous improvement within your team/location
  • Develop and maintain appropriate technical knowledge.
  • Support revenue reporting activity as appropriate.
  • Quality checking of colleagues work to ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good planning and organisation skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritise own workloads.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage multiple clients demands on a daily basis.

  • Manage client relationships to support retention & growth.

Reporting work:


  • All process related updates and exceptions are captured and reported out on timely basis
  • Updating and maintaining Rejects/Errors data and share the analysis with managers
  • Helping managers in process relate reports (e.g. Weekly, Monthly Dashboard) 
  • Ensure all adhoc reports are prepared as and when requested
  • Good skills in creating attractive dashboards using Excel, Power Point, etc.

Support new transitions:


  • Responsible for leading transition calls and support knowledge transfer
  • Creating and maintaining process documents (e.g. SOPs, Process Maps etc.)
  • Ensure adherence to communication calendar.
  • Imparting process trainings to team members

What you need to have: 


  • Graduation in any stream
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Health products knowledge for UK Markets (preferred)
  • Good Interpretation and decision-making skills.
  • Strong command on MS office applications (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (must)
  • VBA knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced Logical, Data Analytical & Data Mining skills
  • Proficient in arithmetic calculations
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, attention to details
  • Knowledge of tools – HBB, GBMA (preferred)
