What you will do


Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and reviewing technical documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency. This role requires a meticulous individual who can work collaboratively with various departments to develop comprehensive documentation that supports our products and services.


Key Responsibilities


  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, system documentation, operational procedures, and training materials.


  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product managers to gather information and ensure the accuracy of documentation.


  • Review and edit documentation created by other team members to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards.


  • Develop and adhere to documentation schedules, ensuring that all deadlines are met.


  • Implement and maintain document control procedures and guidelines to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all technical documents.


  • Utilize various tools and software to produce high-quality documentation, including word processors, desktop publishing software, and content management systems.


  • Conduct research and analysis to ensure that documentation is current and relevant to the needs of the organization and its collaborators.


  • Provide training and support to team members and other departments on documentation standards and best practices.


  • Continuously improve documentation processes and practices to enhance efficiency and quality.


What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:


  • Master’s degree and 4 to 6 years of Technical Writing, Communication, English, or a related field experience OR


  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 to 8 years of Technical Writing, Communication, English, or a related field experience OR


  • Diploma and 10 to 12 years of Technical Writing, Communication, English, or a related field experience


  • Knowledge of good documentation practices.


  • Must be able to effectively communicate with document submitters to resolve any document discrepancies.


  • Proficiency in the document classification taxonomy.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Excel, SharePoint, Documentum platform, and Microsoft Outlook email.


  • Ability to perform work that requires attention to detail, prioritization, and multitasking.


  • High degree of verbal and written comprehension for the English language.


  • Ability to work well with others and under time constraints, including the ability to prioritize workload.


  • Must grasp concepts quickly and react to changes rapidly.


Skills and Competencies


  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of technical writing tools and software, including MS Word, MS Excel, SharePoint, and Documentum platform.


  • Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously review and edit documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.


  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various departments and resolve discrepancies.


  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.


  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and react to changes in a rapidly evolving environment.


  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment.


  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues related to documentation.


  • Customer Focus: Commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
