The Experience-
In today’s dynamic technology environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the information technology team at Colgate. Our highly technical and innovative team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive in this ever-changing landscape.

What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?

Performs technical configuration, development and maintenance of Customer Data Platform (CDP) functionality including listeners, data ingestion, dialogues, timeline queries, etc. to drive personalization on commerce and non-commerce sites, such as displaying dog vs. cat content based on a consumer's interests or prior interactions with Hill's.

Who are you…
You are a function expert - 

Build and maintain solutions on Customer Data Platform to meet future data driven, near real time personalization and omni channel needs.

You connect the dots -

• Ensure the proper use of information technology project management methodology to align with information technology governance practices
• Ensure proper documentation of processes, knowledge acquisitions and transfers
• Conduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes.

You are a collaborator - 

Work with Marketing and Ecommerce stakeholders to strive for greater functionality in our digital systems.

You are an innovator - 

Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

What you’ll need…(Required)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least ​5 years ​of experience ​​in any customer data management platform like blueconic and marketing platform for segmentation, marketing and campaigning.
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Experience with any Data Visualisation tools, Data Lake, Customer data warehouse, Microservices, Cloud platforms
• Knowledge of managing customer centric data is added advantage
• Strong data manipulation and database modeling skills. Must be proficient in SQL, understand how to design and evaluate data models (conceptual, logical and physical), and have the ability to closely partner with data engineers, architects, and data scientists to create well maintained customer databases.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and standard methodologies.
• Understanding of data management and data governance practices including data stewards, data custodians, data lineage, data quality, data cleansing, metadata management, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as customer relationship building skills
• Adapt to and work effectively with a variety of engagements and in ambitious situations
• Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects with many stakeholders. 
• Desire to participate in and help build and strengthen a team-oriented environment.
• Experience leading large full-lifecycle implementations and/or implementing integrated solutions including cloud-based marketing solutions.

What you’ll need…(Preferred)
Experience with:

• Customer Data Cloud (CDC) or similar identity management platforms
• Customer Data Platforms, such as BlueConic
• Marketing Technology including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Manager Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
• Working on Agile/Scrum development teams
• Exposure to A/B testing
• Familiarity with data privacy concepts (GDPR, CCPA, PCI, HIPAA)
