Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect (SA) who will be responsible for the technology strategy and senior level relationships with our enterprise media customers, as well as thought leadership in the Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry, with a particular focus on how Broadcast customer can Modernize and Monetize using AWS Cloud and AWS Partner technologies.
The AWS Solutions Architect (SA) is responsible for educating customers, partners, systems integrators, and strategic consultancies on emerging technologies and solutions that are transforming the M&E, Games and Sports industries. They help with hands-on architecture for real-life customer projects involving AWS services & Independent Software Vendor (ISV)/partner solutions. The SA builds and publishes content and collateral, and presents to customers in 1:1 and 1:many settings. They work with customers remotely and in person.

You will be a subject matter expert on industry topics related to Media and Entertainment. You will anticipate future trends and identify applications of emerging technologies to reduce friction, eliminate waste, and re-invent consumer workflows. In addition you'll help drive thought leadership around Broadcast, Media Supply Chain & Monetization. You will deliver written and spoken communications to establish AWS as the public cloud of choice for media organizations looking to accelerate revenue growth and improve return on assets.

About the team
You will be part of a team of worldwide AWS Media and Entertainment Specialist Solutions Architects engaging customers locally and sharing knowledge globally. We all learn from a diverse pool of expertise coupled with on the ground practical knowledge gained from Working Backwards from our customer needs.
- 5+ years of experience in technology leadership roles within large enterprise games organizations or game development studios.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience architecting complex game solutions using AWS, IT/ISV, and multi-vendor environment technologies.
- 5+ years experience with game development, operations, and analytics in the games industry.
- Prior hands-on experience with AWS services and solutions tailored for the games industry.
- Broad experience across multiple IT domains relevant to the games industry, including Cloud Gaming, Game Engines, and Game Analytics.
- Strong technical acumen to understand the customer or partner landscape in the games industry, identify opportunities, overcome technical obstacles, and ultimately influence the adoption of AWS services in conjunction with business requirements.
- Strong business acumen to comprehend the games industry, customer/partner challenges, and propose solutions to address their business problems effectively.
- Experience interacting with and presenting to senior leadership (e.g., CTOs, CIOs, Chief Architects, Senior Developers) within customer or partner organizations in the games industry, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and solutions.
