What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for supporting master data stewardship and operations for the Enterprise Customer Master. Under minimal direction, this position will ensure effective execution of business rules and accuracy of master data working with the US or regional and country/affiliate multi-functional collaborators.
Responsible for data stewardship and operations that enables data accuracy across master data domains i.e. customer, Payer, product, affiliations, etc.
Reconcile potential matches, manage data change requests and maintain master reference data at the US or region/country/affiliate level
Mediate resolution of data/system related issues and communicate to relevant collaborators
Responsible for system integration and user acceptance testing of related system and integration implementations
Implement master data governance process ensuring consistency to US or region/country/affiliate level policies, standards, and principles as necessary
multi-functional collaboration, with collaborators from Commercial, Medical, IS, Privacy, Compliance, and Legal
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design solutions that meet business needs
Implement data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive data
Develop, Document and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating procedures), Playbooks, and SLAs
Collaborate and communicate effectively with data owners, resolve data inconsistencies within SLA
Implement process improvements, and efficiency opportunities to enhance stewardship capabilities, improve Data quality, SLAs, etc.,
Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that ensure data quality, consistency, and security
Enable data quality standards and perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Master’s degree and 1 to 3 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR
Diploma and 7 to 9 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience
Must-Have Skills:
Direct experience in master data management, data profiling, data stewardship, data analysis and data quality processes
Experience with pharma master data and transactional information (commercial, medical, clinical, etc.)
Experience with pharma/healthcare business processes (commercial, medical, clinical, etc.)
Experience with data mapping and reconciliation of customer demographic data across commercial, clinical, medical, compliance data sources
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets
Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, tools, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
Experience with data analysis tools (eg. SQL) and experience with data visualization tools
Understanding of IS data applications and operations experience
Strong project management skills, lead and manage projects from concept to completion in a matrixed and, at times, ambiguous environment
Soft Skills:
Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrated awareness of how to function in a team setting
Demonstrated presentation skills.
This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening shifts, as required based on business requirements.
