About the Job
At JLL, we are driving sustainability through everything that we do. We are building up our Sustainability practice, to drive our end-to-end sustainability solutions in commercial real estate, including Client Solutions, Strategy Consulting, Performance & Design, and Operations. This role is embedded in on of JLL’s core sustainability services organization: Asset Performance & Modelling team, where you will be involved in repurposing assets to meet challenging sustainability targets and objectives.


Projects will include data collection, analysis, advice, continuous building performance review and designing and delivering approaches to reach client sustainability performance indicators, while ensuring return on investment.


As an building performance analyst, you will be responsible for performing Building Performance data collection, analysis, and reporting. You will work as part of a regional team to help set up building performance models, collect building energy data, review and analyze the data, prepare monthly reports, and work with building FM teams to deliver continuous improvement and energy reduction. You will be part of the Global Asset Performance and Modelling team, as part of JLL's Core Sustainability Services.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Review data files provided by external parties for quality and consistency.
  • Process files into online reporting facility.
  • Prepare excel reports as required.
  • Review and analyze multiple datasets
  • Perform analysis and identify saving initiatives and/or operational issues.
  • Prepare sustainability reports on monthly basis
  • Create Action Lists
  • Produce draft reports for review by technical lead
  • Issue reports to site teams
  • Liaise with metering provider team, data analysts and technical resources as required
  • Provide systems support to clients and internal stakeholders as required
  • Maintain document control and record keeping for reporting
  • Establish internal processes and systems to help facilitate reporting tasks more efficiently.
  • Ability to improve internal systems.
  • Ensure all analyses are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide support to other team members as required.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in Building Performance Simulation software and techniques.
  • Work with in-house cost management team to evaluate cost-efficient high-performance building design solutions.

Sound like you? To apply you need to be:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Building Performance Simulation using IES VE and/or IES iCD.
  • Experience in the design, construction and operation of buildings
  • Excellent knowledge of IES VE. Knowledge in IES iCD software is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work on time.
  • A passion for sustainable and high-performance building design.
  • A good understanding of related building regulation issues.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
