Profile Summary 


Hands on Subject Matter Expert role for building as part of Global Capability Center (GCC) for Wealth Management (WM). The lead, in partnership with the India Data head, Chief Data and Analytics Officer business and Technology Practices will build and deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience across various platforms and channels. Primary responsibilities include developing a Master Data Management Strategy for a Client and Legal Entity. Developing data contracts and data products with taxonomy and ontologies and autonomously providing guidance to Data cloud teams. In addition, interaction with business stakeholders, running business workshops to understand consumption requirements.


Skills


  • Experience building Data Products and Data Mesh at a financial services organization


  • End to end understanding of the Business process across Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Asset Management, Custody


  • Master Data Management (MDM) with IBM and Reltio experience for 5+ years.


  • Information architecture and data governance experience to map data elements


  • Strong experience in Collibra and Collibra Data Quality to map to process


  • Experience implementing federated Data eco-system including data mesh Databricks, Snowflake


  • Ability to create executive friendly communications to explain technical concepts


  • Experience performing conceptual and logical data modelling across various platforms including home grown platforms, Salesforce, Dynamics etc.


  • Semantic modelling, taxonomy and ontologies of data to help define business terms and modelling


  • Relentless focus on quantifiable value delivery and understanding of financial metrics


  • Disciplined execution and proof of concept approach and disciplined execution of targeted initiatives.


  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to assess current state and architect future-state operating models, processes, capabilities required by both business and technology to successfully adopt digitization and automation solutions.


  • Lead the change management effort to ensure successful adoption of the transformation effort.


  • Partner with Technology and Data to develop scalable solutions and evaluate build/buy/outsource decisions.


Knowledge


  • Strong consultative skills including project scoping, insight gathering, problem solving, Reporting strategy development, influencing, facilitation and consensus building.


  • Prior experience in integrating and influencing others across a network and unlocking new opportunities to drive excellence in data driven decision making.


  • Demonstrated track record of developing an enterprise-view, ensure robustness of business cases and tracking of value delivery


  • Manages a function. Establishes performance standards for the unit. Conducts the performance management process, identifies training and career development needs.


Additional Skills


  • Manages business, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance and applying business architecture principles to business solutions.


  • Strong negotiation and vendor management experience. • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to develop materials and effectively present to and persuade executive audiences.


  • Ability to adapt communication style to act as a liaison between the information technology groups and business teams.


  • Dynamic relationship building and partnership skills; a strong collaborator with experience leading initiatives across multiple groups and stakeholders. • Excellent motivation and team building skills, including the ability to recruit, develop and retain staff.


  • Strong situational awareness and decision-making capabilities


Experience


  • Overall, 10 to 15 years of experience in managing and driving projects and change management.


  • Experience working in Business data and Analytics within financial services in the area of applications, product management etc.


  • Track record of developing and driving transformation vision and agenda


  • Premier Institution academic qualification preferred IIT, NIT, REC etc.
