Welcome to Novonesis Cost & Production and Inventory team. We are responsible for Global Cost accounting operations. Our team closely work with Head quarter Denmark team. You will be involved in cross-functional discussions and aligned with global best practices to maintain accuracy and efficiency in our processes.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Inventory Management & Valuation:
Oversee inventory valuation for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
Perform inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and variance analysis.
Ensure accurate financial reporting of inventory in compliance with accounting standards.
Process Order Closures & Financial Reporting:
Manage and monitor process order settlements and closures in the ERP system.
Ensure accurate posting of production-related costs and inventory movements.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to production and inventory.
Generate cost reports, margin analysis, and inventory reports for management.
Data Analysis & Process Improvement:
Utilize Power Query, Power BI, and KNIME to automate data processing and reporting.
Develop dashboards and reports for inventory monitoring at different segments.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
Optimize ERP processes for cost tracking, process order management, and inventory accuracy.
Global Collaboration & Independent Work:
Work independently to drive cost and inventory accounting initiatives.
Liaise with business units globally, ensuring alignment in cost accounting and financial reporting.
Support global finance teams by providing accurate cost analysis and inventory insights.
Adapt to different business needs across multiple time zones and regional requirements.
To succeed you must hold:
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in cost accounting, inventory management, or manufacturing finance. Qualified / Semi-qualified Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA) is preferable
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, GAAP/IFRS, and inventory valuation methods.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with different departments.
