Role Purpose
The role will be to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of Contract and Franchise revenue audit activities. The Job includes executing all deliverables per agreed timeline and in line with process metrics targets. The role will also require supporting Audit and SOX testing. Job also requires dealing with other functions within and outside India GSC.
Key Accountabilities
- Review contract of Franchised and Managed properties to ensure accuracy of billing.
- Maintaining records, audit trail and conversation to substantiate the completion of contract review.
- Completion of Contract and Revenue Audit as per target allocated.
- Initiate the billing adjustments of review finding for completion of review.
- Maintain a record of contract review performed and related billing adjustments to report the same in performance metrics.
- Providing training to Team members on process activities.
- Prepare/Update the procedure documents.
- Supervise team in absence of Team Leader & Manager.
- Conduct hotel audits in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
- Reconcile, analyze and prepare FAST surveys using reports from hotels PMS.
- Provide expertise in the investigation, analysis and resolution of franchise hotel audit.
- Communicate with hotel (GM/PC/Controller) over the phone/email as needed.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly billing and submit in workflow before closing.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly Dashboard for Franchise Audit.
- Provide support for G&C audit and E&Y Audit.
Key Skills & Experiences
Education and Experience -
Bachelor’s (B.Com) or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting 1-3 years of progressive work-related experience in accounting
Technical Skills and Knowledge -
Intermediary Accounting knowledge and the ability to apply them to the company's Accounting practices.
Intermediary knowledge of relevant Systems and applications used in accounting function like PeopleSoft, Conversant with MS Office, ERP exposure.
