Job Description
You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your procurement expertise + operational skills to the delivery of customer + operational excellence.
Your Role Your will be responsible for procurement of Capex + Opex requirement for new projects throughout the country following 5Rs ( Right Product, Right Quantity, Right Quality, Right Time and Right Price ). Your Responsibilities
- To manage all Capex + Opex procurement for the new projects.
- To support business development team while they work on submitting proposals to new clients.
- To prepare purchase request ( PR ) , processing GRN, ensuring timely submission of supplier invoices according to company standards and process.
- To deep dive into research and chalk out potential suppliers based on the requirement.
- To ensure smooth onboarding of new suppliers ( Non Trade suppliers + Contingent Labour ) as per the company standards and process.
- To foster long-term relationships with suppliers who provide the best offers during supply chain procurement.
- To monitor + ensure compliance across all procurement activities.
- To drive activities that enhance savings, reduce cost ratios by developing + implementing structured processes through leveraging, bulk sourcing + optimization.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Minimum 5-7 years work experience in freight forwarding industry, with a focus on sourcing.
- Experience in managing procurement for a mid to large sized organizations is preferred.
- Experience in leading Capex + Opex Procurement projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with suppliers.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
