Identity & Access Management main objective is to ensure secure access to DB assets and providing the right access for the right users at the right time. Within I&A, a new enterprise-wide Secrets Management capability will be formed to centrally manage credentials used for machine-to-machine authentication and authorization.

In your role as Solution Architect, you will be one of the first team members to join the new team at the exciting time of introducing the new secrets management capability at Deutsche Bank. You will be responsible to design and lead the implementation of the modern and innovative secrets management solution, integrate it across our hybrid environment and with a number of interface systems (e.g. Security Monitoring, Access Lifecycle Management, CI/CD tools), and support the adoption of multiple thousand applications across the bank.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and oversee the construction of complex IT systems and infrastructure, aligning technology solutions with business goals and requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and developers, to gather requirements and translate them into architectural designs
• Define architecture principles to guide solution design, develop the target technology estate to support the organization’s business strategies
• Develop the target technology estate, develop roadmaps to enable transition to the target estate, govern the transition, and provide guidance and support throughout the implementation process
• Ensure that solutions are built according to architecture principles and align to the roadmaps and our organization’s target architecture

Your skills and experience

Skills you’ll need

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
• Deep understanding of one or more various technology domains, such as infrastructure architecture, application development, data platforms, cloud computing, and security
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner
• Strong DevOps background and a keen eye on process automations
• Experience in designing, implementing, and operating a highly available and scalable software product (self-hosted and SaaS)

Skills that will help you excel

• Experience in information security, especially identity and access management and secrets management, is a plus
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure: GCP (GKE, CloudSQL, CloudMonitoring, etc.), Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, Terraform, Confluent Kafka, Helm
• Good knowledge of Deployment - Automation & CI: GIT, BitBucket, Artifactory, Ansible, Maven, Ant Artifactory, Jenkins, TeamCity, uDeploy
• Experience in the development and execution of test automation scripts (Selenium, Cucumber, Karate etc.)
• Good understanding of Microservices and API Management
