The PositionWhat to expect

As part of the Product Analysis and Consultancy Chapter organization, the (Senior) Solution Architect SAP-Hub IM/WM-EWM-TM will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and support of supply chain solutions in the area of inventory and warehouse management in collaboration with internal and strategic suppliers, in accordance with the respective service level agreements (SLAs), Roche service management processes (incident management, change management, etc.), and Roche quality and documentation standards. Within the global Product Analysis and Consultancy Chapter, the (Senior) Solution Architect SAP-Hub IM/WM-EWM-TM provides leadership and expertise in:


  • You create and design solutions, procedures, and business processes that meet business, customer-related, and technological requirements within global templates, hub systems, and affiliate systems.


  • You evaluate alternative IT technologies if necessary and research industry best practices and emerging trends.


  • You create and design solutions as well as procedures and optimize business processes at a global level in the field.


  • You provide domain expertise and implementation of supply chain or lifecycle-related projects in the area of inventory management and warehouse management.


  • You participate in sprints for the deployment of extensions according to agile working methods.


  • Development and management of the respective business-critical know-how within the above-mentioned field.


  • You are responsible for a small team of specialists or a (partial) project team.


Who you are

You want to influence your own development and are looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests across functions and geographies. You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and have more than 10 years of experience in practical support of IT processes, analysis of business processes and requirements, execution of projects and programs with high complexity and risks, and support of information system projects. In addition, you bring the following skills and competencies:


  • At least 10 years of experience with SAP ECC - MM and WM, as well as in-depth experience in SAP EWM in a supply chain-related environment combined with strong cross-module knowledge of adjacent modules such as SD and FI and associated processes.


  • Intensive know-how and experience in SAP development, especially ABAP, debugging, extension technologies, and interface technologies.


  • Strong experience in template creation, including the definition of global processes and the rollout of template solutions.


  • Project management experience.


  • Experience working in a global environment with an offshore partner and providing the necessary governance.


  • Experience working in an agile team.


  • Development and management of business-critical/technical know-how within the field.


  • Influencing the organization within global functions and, where necessary, the scope of IT functions in the field.


  • Experience with ITIL is desirable.


  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with relevant batch and serial number management processes.


  • Experience working in a regulated environment and with computer system validation.


  • Strong communication skills.


  • International mindset with a clear focus on goals.


  • Ability to lead change.


  • Strategic thinking.
