Solution Architect - HCI Data Center, Edge, and SD-WAN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), Edge Computing, and Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative data center solutions that integrate HCI technologies with edge computing and SD-WAN architectures. This role requires a deep understanding of the latest trends in data center modernization, cloud integration, and network optimization.

Architect and Design Solutions:

• Develop comprehensive HCI-based data center architectures that support high-performance, scalable, and secure environments.
• Integrate edge computing solutions to optimize processing power, reduce latency, and enhance real-time data analytics.
• Design and implement SD-WAN solutions to ensure robust, flexible, and cost-effective network connectivity across distributed environments.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance in the adoption of HCI, edge computing, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineers, cloud architects, and security experts to develop cohesive solutions.
• Conduct technology assessments and recommend appropriate solutions based on business needs and technical requirements.

Project Management:

• Lead the technical design and implementation phases of data center and network projects.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful deployment of solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation plans.

Customer Engagement:

• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and address technical challenges.
• Provide support to the pre-sales team working with sales teams to define customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal teams and customers on HCI, edge, and SD-WAN technologies.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in HCI, edge computing, and SD-WAN.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within existing data center and network architectures.
• Contribute to the development of internal knowledge bases, standards, and best practices

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Any Cloud Certification , ITIL is a plus

Experience:7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a solution architect role.Proven experience with HCI platforms such as VMware vSAN, Nutanix, or Cisco HyperFlex.Strong knowledge of edge computing technologies and frameworks
