That’s what makes us Roche. We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect for Integration Services & Marketplace product to join our team. As a Solution Architect, you will play a vital role in defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision for our Digital Integration product line. This includes ensuring integration is built for purpose, with built-in observability, self-service and automation, ensuring reusability and platform elasticity.


The Opportunity:
  • Design end-to-end architectures, considering scalability, security, relevance, and performance.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.


  • Develop comprehensive process design documentation, including flowcharts and diagrams, to effectively communicate the end to end architecture.


  • Assess and design the integration of the platform with multiple systems.


  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of solutions through proper testing and optimization.


  • Collaborate with development teams to provide architectural guidance and support during implementation.


  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in enterprise application integration


  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and data protection policies by implementing robust security measures.


Who you are:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or related field, or equivalent experience.


  • 5-8 years of professional IT experience, with 2 years proven experience as Solution Architect in system integration projects


  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, particularly in building scalable and secure architectures.


  • Good understanding of API-Driven Architecture and Event Driven Architecture


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


  • Ability to evaluate trade-offs and make sound architectural decisions.


  • Expertise in multiple technology domains (e.g., networks, systems, databases, security).


  • Familiarity with architecture framework methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)



Preferred:
  • Familiarity with any of the following technologies:  MuleSoft, Solace, Sterling, SAP CPI, Kafka, Aspera, Talend


  • Understanding of information architecture and its impact to integrations


  • Prior consulting experience in Integration area
