Role & responsibilities:
- Proven experience in architecting and implementing large-scale solutions in agile environments.
- Hands-on leadership with the ability to collaborate, provide technical direction, and drive long-term planning.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with expertise in server-side technologies, API frameworks, and microservices.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to adapt discussions based on audience.
- Passion for emerging technologies, with a capacity to continuously learn and apply new knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, unstructured environments, both independently and in teams.
Candidate requirements:
- Extensive experience in architecting and designing platforms with a focus on security, scalability, API-centric design, cloud infrastructure, tooling, and open-source frameworks. Proven ability to build platform frameworks to simplify application development.
- Expertise in Java server-side technology and development of reusable artifacts, including microservices, with deep knowledge of Spring Technologies (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Session, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Web).
- Strong experience in microservices architecture, with a background in transforming existing applications to a microservices-based approach (technology migration is a plus).
- Experience with serverless technologies such as Tomcat, Nginx, and container technologies.
- Hands-on experience with API gateways, logging, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with messaging technologies like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Experience in the banking/financial industry, preferably in channel solutions.
- University degree (BCA/MCA/BE/B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent in computer science) from a reputed institution.
- Omni-channel experience (a plus)
