Software Test Analyst Senior - Connex /IST MAS/ IST Clearing
Location: Chennai / Bangalore/ Gurgaon

About the teamWe are looking to add an energetic, talented, and experienced Senior QA tester to our QA Team working on IST/Merchant Account & Settlement,(MAS), IST/Clearing (CLR), Data Navigator, Connex &/or IST Epay, Event Broker, Code Connect testing . The role of the Tester is to participate in all kind of testing in different stages of software development and work with QA leads, Manager to provide support in project deliveryCareer-oriented Software Test Analyst Senior who has Payments or Card’s testing experience. Can work independently or with minimal supervision and passionate about quality and performance.
What you will be doing :
- Work closely with the QA Lead and QA Manager and provide support in project delivery and deliver the tasks on time with highest quality
- Bring in innovation and out of the box thinking
- Effective communication within the team and with stakeholders
- Proficient in generating detailed and concise status reports
- Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of project deliverables.
- Prepare detailed Test plan based on the functional specifications
- Develop, maintain, and keep up to date the manual and automated test scripts, data sets and other test artefacts required to execute the test plan
- Conduct and facilitate test plan/case reviews with Internal and External stakeholders.
- Track and monitor defects in JIRA, schedule defects triage with the development team as required.
What you Bring:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Software testing role
- Experience in the following Applications: IST/Merchant Account & Settlement,(MAS), IST/Clearing (CLR), Data Navigator, Connex &/or IST Epay, Event Broker, Code Connect
- Testing experience in Cards Schemes – Mastercard, Visa, Amex/JCB, Diners/Discover and EFTPOS
- Good understanding of standard SDLC and all types of testing (e.g., FT, SIT, UAT, etc)
- Knowledge with engineering tools such as Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA or similar. Test Management tools knowledge - Test Rail, Zephyr or any similar tools
- Has solid analysis, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationship among the project team members.
- Knowledge of network message standards - AS2805 or ISO8583 standards
- Test Simulator tools knowledge – FINsim (Paysim), Postman, SOAP UI, OTS, MAS and VTS
