About the role:
Quality Analyst who ensures top notch quality on all our deliverables in Debit – Norcross and EFT Web products.
About the team:
The team manages Debit products serving some of the major Financial Institutions in the US. Around 15 Web and Standalone applications comprises of Norcross and EFTWeb products. The technologies used are Java, Connex, Stratus, Oracle, PL/SQL, PHP, Visual Cobol.
What you will be doing:
- Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual and automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
- Perform usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
- Interact and coordinate with other teams to perform integration testing.
- Support test lead to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and automated unit testing.
- Affirm Internal quality assurance.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- 4 – 7 years of experience as Quality Analyst
- Banking and Switch knowledge - ISO8583 Data Elements, Transaction Processing
- Basic knowledge in Connex / Tandem
- Experience in Web Application Testing
- Knowledge in Defect Management Tool
- Knowledge in Test Management Tool
- Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded.
Added bonus if you have:
- Work experience with Zephyr.
- Work experience in Agile Scrum.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Positive attitude towards problem solving.
- Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individuals.
