1. Define, implement and monitor software technologies strategy
operating model for the software management of E&C digital solutions
technical strategy of integration of all E&C Digital Solutions
implement the technology roadmap (Hexagon, Aveva, AspenTech, Ansys, APIs, SAP, etc.)
technology software budget, financial process (targets, actuals, reforecast, etc.), reporting
alignment of Digital and IT roadmap with business needs
culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team
strategic partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and industry leaders
2. Lead and manage software engineering teams
team of software engineers and IT professionals recruitment, retention and development
best practices in software development, inc. Agile, CI/CD, product mgt. and automated testing
rationalization of the applications landscape, integration “by design”
software engineers and technical experts hosting for the other Digital & IT teams in Europe
disaster recovery, business continuity mechanisms
quality standards, performance metrics for technology projects, risks mitigation, compliance
3. Lead Digital Solutions Development and integration
implementation (development, testing, integration) of digital solutions with the product managers
seamless handover for transitioning digital solutions to the Digital & IT operations teams
customization and integration lifecycle for off-the-shelf tools
user-centric design, users requirements gathering, usage and adoption monitoring and reporting
digital solutions TCO objectives enforcement
digital solutions documentation (users manuals, admin guides, maintenance procedures, etc.)
security, data privacy
4. Monitor technologies trends and benchmark
emerging technologies, industry trends, key advisor, evolutions, best practices
technology assess, improvement, lab test, minimum viable products
third parties applications benchmarking for Innovation Director and product managers
technical implementation of innovation projects
Knowledge and Knowhow specific to the job
Strong Mastering of Software Engineering
Strong Knowledge of software technologies, methodologies and languages (Python, ABAP, Java…)
Strong knowledge of EPC digital environment (Hexagon, Aveva, AspenTech, Ansys, Etap, etc)
Strong Experience of IT Department Lead (Planning, Project portfolio, Budget, etc.)
