Job Summary:


To Build and Drive Control system standards for Measurement Systems and solutions in MSS.For Hydrocarbon Measurement liquid and Gas Measurement. Truck /rail/Ship loading and unloading applications.


In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:


  • Establish a Metering software suite for MSS, Build standards for use in Executions for Flow Metering computers -design a System Architecture and Measurement system and per Measurement international standards.
  • Build documentation libraries for -FDS, FAT, SAT, special test protocol, 
  • Create a training module and deploy modular training for execution team, other function resources.
  • Builds team responsible for the accurate, quality and consistent engineering execution of project deliverables from the COE across their specific functional field as well as driving engineering solutions to complex solutions that align with global execution model. Candidates must have experience managing teams of people in a diverse, fast paced environment as well as demonstrate high level of collaboration with engineering and management resources within other world areas as well as directly with FSS Customers. 
  •  Create tools to improve quality of work, improves productivity.
  • Bridge the gap and solve key technical high level issues in projects to support Project Manager. 
  •  Responsible for the engineering processes  and suggest changes for areas of improvement or simplification.
  • Leading the continuous improvement and training activities within the functional team to drive a culture of continuous improvement as measured through deliverables and execution performance.
  •  Responsible for leading and developing employees to align with CoE strategic vision/COE promise statement and execution performance standards
  • Leads change in engineering processes in accordance with industry standards and changing customer and internal requirements. Works to drive zero defect processes.
  • Implements solutions to engineering problems by analyzing, interpreting and evaluating various precedents and data. Anticipates potential problems and takes preventative actions. 
  • Attends appropriate industry related professional society meetings and functions to stay informed of and make good use of new technology, products and personal development opportunities.
  • Work closely with Global Project Management Office to ensure appropriate adoption of Global project processes, tools and procedures.  Setting organizational metrics for close adoption and monitoring.
  • Candidates shall have demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and assign work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrated knowledge of ISO9001 quality process requirements 
  • Good understanding and able to deploy the design as per  Measurement standards like AGA/API MPMS, ISO. Skilled in Flow computer Configurations like S600+, OMNI flow computers, ROC series Flow Computers and Batch controllers. Should be excellent in building Graphics, HMI with various brands for Metering.
  • Good communicator and problem-solving abilities

For This Role, You Will Need:


  • Guide and solve issues on project team of Software Engineers.
  • Develop Standards like library for documentations, programs, FDS, etc
  • Provide necessary guidance / training to team to improve Performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with team and Global collaborators.  
  • Strong presentation and written communications skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative and geographically distributed team environment
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
  • Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram from and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proven process management and process improvement skills.
  • Will work primarily in an office setting. Will be required at times to work in a fabrication shop or at a job site with moderate noise levels and inherent safety hazards.
  • Employee may be required to travel infrequently for conferences, seminars, training and customer meetings or job site support. Travel could be international.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office Tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
  • Familiar with basic design work processes and has completed basic design packages for external customers.
  • Being able to effectively communicate findings through reports and presentations.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Hands on configurations of S600+Flow computer and OMNI.
  • Hands on Configurations and testing of DV based Metering Flow Computer Panel and DanPac Panel and Blending and transfer solutions/ Batch experience could be added advantage.
  • Successfully completed Gas and Liquid Fiscal or Custody transfer Metering Skids and handled customer KOM, FAT and able to support SAT to the satisfaction of customer.
  • Able to do simulation test set up and perform test.
  • Familiar with PLC, SCAD HIMI, hands on experience.
  • Successful test serial communications- on Modbus TCP/IP.
  • Verify Calculations as per API/ MPMI - AGA standards.
