Job Summary


Use your technical skills to help us improve our customer/internal-facing solutions. The Red Hat DXP Quality Engineering (QE) team is looking for a Quality Engineer to join us in India. In this role, you will develop automated tests for a functional area of a solution within our extensive portfolio of offerings. To do so successfully, you'll first need to understand the solution's architecture and how it integrates with other offerings. As a Quality Engineer, you will serve as an individual contributor of the team and interact with other team members and developers.


Primary Job Responsibilities


  • Define automated test strategies, methodologies, processes, and procedures


  • Design and create test automation suites


  • Contribute to weekly team meetings


  • Reviewing codes, specifications and processes.


  • Provide an accurate and timely status of automated testing efforts and quality statistics to the product leadership team.


Required Skills


  • 3+ years of experience in Software Test Engineering


  • Good understanding of testing Web Applications, APIs and creating test automation suites.


  • Expert in manual testing (exploratory testing)


  • Good programming skills in any one language ( JS, Python, Java).


  • Knowledge of Git 


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Basic understanding of agile practices
