Senior Software Quality Engineer | Adobe Learning Manager TeamThe Adobe Learning Manager team is looking for an exceptional Senior Software Quality Engineer with expertise in Grey Box testing and System Integration Testing (SIT). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric e-learning environment and can take ownership of testing across complex systems.
We need a professional who understands both the internal workings of software and system interactions. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between development and QA, working to ensure seamless integration across various components and platforms.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Grey Box Testingwith a deep understanding of the software’s internals (code, architecture) and external functionality.
  • ExecuteSystem Integration Testing (SIT)to ensure all components function together as intended across diverse systems.
  • Collaborate with developers to design test strategies for integration points between various services and applications.
  • Lead functional, workflow/user-centric, and end-to-end testing, focusing on interactions between multiple layers of the system.
  • Own and drive Web & API automation testing, developing innovative frameworks to enhance automation capabilities.
  • Analyze complex integration issues, resolve problems, and make recommendations for improving system performance.
  • Deliver comprehensive test plans, specifications, estimations, and reports to guide the development lifecycle.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software testing with a focus onGrey BoxandSystem Integration Testing (SIT).
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Selenium, Core Java, Python) and experience with testing web services (SOAP, REST with JSON/XML).
  • Excellent Coding
  • Hands-on experience with Web & API testing and automation frameworks.
  • Exposure toAWS,Jenkins, andGitHubfor cloud solutions and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience in testing web applications and multi-tiered, complex architectures.
  • Deep understanding of thesoftware development life cyclewith the ability to test in dynamic, evolving environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
Desirable:
  • Experience in the eLearning domain is a plus.
